Paint correction

Single-stage correction

A single stage of light machine polishing to gain 40%-65% improvement in removing swirls, oxidation, “love marks” (excessive towel wiping), water spots, and other micromarring from all painted surfaces while adding depth and gloss. Deeper scratches will be improved, but will mostly remain.

~6-8 hrs polishing time.

The art of paint correction taken to the highest degree. Not for regular factory cars, daily drivers, nor the faint of heart. Every single square inch of painted surfaces on the vehicle are improved to a level that is well beyond what most owners desire. For the select vehicle seeking awards, record-setting auction prices, or even for the most meticulous owners who desire the best example of their particular vehicle in the world; this level of paint correction has its place.

Following a safe and proper wash (including in and around all badges, rubber trim, and crevices) as well as chemical & mechanical decontamination; the vehicle is safely dried in a method to prevent installing more imperfections into the paint. After this process, testing commences to find the best possible pad(s) and polish/compound combination(s) for machine polishing to achieve the desired level of improvement for each specific vehicle; while most importantly, preserving the vehicle’s finish for many years to come. Too often unskilled detailers will remove far more paint than is necessary, removing years of life from the vehicle’s future, and potentially leading to the need for a repaint in the worst scenarios. A trip to the body shop is certainly less than ideal and also preventable if safe & proper techniques/methods are used.

Your vehicle is not only special to you, but it’s also an investment and should be treated as such.

Trust a skilled and knowledgeable specialist who finds your vehicle as special as you do, regardless if it’s a Honda or a Ferrari.

Multiple-stage correction

The most well known example of paint correction. Multiple stages of machine polishing utilizing a cutting step followed by a refining (polishing) step to remove any micromarring installed during the main defect removal as well as to increase depth and gloss of the paint.

A multiple stage or “full” correction has the ability to gain up to 80%-95% removal of paint defects including swirls, deeper scratches, oxidation, “love marks”, and other paint defects. Some RIDS (Random Isolated Deeper Scratches) may remain. Offering a massive improvement to nearly any vehicle, and often surpassing the quality of finish the vehicle had leaving the factory.

~16-40+ hrs polishing time.
