Paint Correction

Paint Correction has had many names and techniques over the decades, but the central idea is the same. Using proper, advanced, and modern methods of paint polishing to remove years of scratches, swirls, “spiderwebs”, sanding marks, oxidation, and other undesired paint imperfections from the entirety of a vehicle’s painted surfaces to bring years back to the finish — often surpassing the quality standard of the factory.
Even brand-new vehicles benefit from this as the automaker rarely allocates the time and resources for every car to receive the level of finish that it deserves. Especially when it comes to hand-built cars, as there is more room for human error.

Single-stage paint correction (goal of 40-65% defect removal)
Multiple-stage paint correction (80-95% improvement)
Concours-level paint restoration (>95% improvement, only for select vehicles with adequate amounts of paint/clear) Generally reserved for show vehicles.
Ceramic Coating
& Long-Term protection
Often you’ll hear “wax is dead” or “ceramic coatings are just snake oil” and really, neither is entirely accurate. Waxes and sealants are especially valuable on certain finishes or for particular vehicles including original classics. Whereas ceramic and other long-term coatings (PTFE, polysiloxane, etc.) offer a value those organic or polymer-based forms of protection simply don’t have — a massive uptick in ease of maintenance as well as unparalleled longevity.
On average show waxes will last a few days to a week+, typical waxes last 1-3+ months, and sealants will last 6-9 months. With longer term forms of protection, durability increases to an entire year+ for trim and the windshield. Paint, side windows, wheels, and more are able to be preserved for 2-4+ years of daily use.
A decontamination wash is recommended 1-2x/yr to clean the “pores” of the coating and bring out stronger hydrophobics and can even be done at home if you already do your own proper maintenance washes. We’re happy to educate you how!
